Forgive your original sin

Not only Jews, Muslims and Christians but all ancient cultures teach original sin in one form or another through mythology, parables and legendary stories of creation.  We all (Westerners) know of the bible version of ‘The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil’
Eating from the ‘Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil’ is a symbol of dualistic thinking. In other words, tasting the fruits of good and bad, love and hate, peace and war, all the way along to cold and hot, big and small.
‘The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil’ is a symbol that expresses the concept of judgment and choice. To decide for yourself, to make a decision based on your own calculated opinion.

He lives, she dies. My bombs are better than your bombs. My God is better than your God. Your God is not a God. Fast is better. Simplicity sucks.

To have an opinion.
To judge the past.
To have a desire for the future.

Sin is when you are not ‘being in the present moment’; part of Being.
Fully aware.
Fully Acceptance.
Fully Thankfulness.
Fully Joy.
Isn’t this what all the great masters, prophets, teachers or gurus have tried to impart to us?
Be still and know that I am God.
Live in the Presence of God (Present Moment).
Do not judge.
There is no right or wrong.  (Could this also be why so many of the great masters taught through paradox)
There is no opinion to be had.
You must let go of your ego centered thoughts.
To get to this state of mind, Joy, you must let go of judging each moment, dwelling on the past or anticipating the future. (Isn’t this what faith is?)  In letting go of dualistic thinking, you forgive yourself, you loose opinion.  You forgive your original sin.
At times of deep, focused contemplative prayer, being still and allowing the presence of God to be part of your consciousness, you enter a sinless state. A state of Peace and Joy.

This is the great mystery.

When you learn to forgive your original sin (dualistic thought), you become whole and sinless and still.
Like a child jumping into water.

Love.
